Reproductive Wellness/Fertility Optimization Education and Support
Before starting a family, we can offer you insight, education and support through a nutritional and epigenetic approach. Our reproductive wellness consultant will help you understand and support pre-menstrual issues, nutritional deficiencies and hormonal imbalances ahead of time to improve your overall health prior to pregnancy.
Prenatal Nutrition and Wellness Consultation
If you are already pregnant, our prenatal wellness consultant will teach you how to nourish your body to stave off common complaints of pregnancy, and ensure adequate nutrient levels for both you and baby. She’ll help you navigate each trimester to support vibrancy and keep you complaint-free.
For all prenatal wellness consultations, a typical appointment may include:
-
- A baseline overview of urine and saliva testing
- A baseline overview of adrenal function
- A baseline analysis of sympathetic and parasympathetic functioning
- Discussion of health history, diet and lifestyle factors
- A look at how genetics may be impacting these results
- A customized outline of your particular needs
Topics that may be covered in a consult include:
-
- Learning about xenoestrogens and hormone mimickers
- Liver toxicity and estrogen metabolism
- How stress impacts hormonal disruption and blood sugar
- Nutritional cofactors needed to detoxify cells and liver
- Epigenetics and nutrigenomics that may influence fertility, pregnancy, and birth, as well as how epigenetics may affect the overall level of health, intellect, and immune function of children.
Tree of Life offers naturopathic and natural health consulting. Naturopaths are not licensed medical doctors, and therefore do not diagnose or treat disease. Rather, we support the body nutritionally, so that the body comes in to balance on its own. Our consultations and therapies may be used as a complement to traditional medical care.
